Keeping It Casual

A couple months ago I told you all I was going to make attempts to incorporate more color into my wardrobe. Based on this look I dove in head first and I love it! This is huge, because to see me wearing pink is something many people probably never thought they would. But lately I’ve realized there’s a reason it’s a favorite for so many.

With the messages like “women support women”, and words like mom-preneur, girlboss and more all becoming the new buzzwords, it seems like the color pink has started to make a resurgence. So when The LB Brand offered to send me a pair of their Modern Motherhood glasses and asked what color I preferred – rosé was the easy choice. You can catch more of this look paired with those shades on their site in my upcoming “Six Ways to Style” feature.
I opted to switch out frames for these smokey grey options that I scored from a boutique in Brooklyn. I’ve been actually dying to get them in pink too but they’ve been sold out forever. Glasses gods hear my cries!
Be prepared to see these shoes often because after two years of eyeing them I finally took the plunge and I couldn’t be happier. You’d be surprised how well highlighter yellow suede sneakers pair with everything. It just so happened this Clare Vivier tote bag that came with my Christmas gift matched perfectly. Teddy bear fur coats are all the rage which means once again my fur collection has served me well. I’ve had this coat since last year and wear it often, I’m positive I’ll need another one next season but in the meantime I’ll rock this until the wheels fall off.
