As noted on here before I’m a t-shirt girl. I’ve tried blouses and button downs time and time again but for reasons such as being top heavy; it isn’t always easy. There are a few exceptions however, t-shirts tend to win over more often than not. With a foundation like that I have to make sure I change it up around here! I use pinterest to find inspiration daily ( go ahead and follow, it’s worth it…) and lately I’ve been all about midi length pencil skirts because with warmer temps on the way I’ll need to trade in my jeans.
The thing that some people miss about pencil skirts is their versatility. For a long time I likened this knee length option to offices and church mothers BUT the fashion gods delivered me from that horrible burden. Here are a few looks I’ve loved for quite sometime and you can plan on seeing more of it around these HAUTE parts.
Can we get into the tuck in though? It’s one thing to wear a fitted shirt that just grazes the top of the skirt but there’s a whole other element of style when you tuck and blouse your tee. HAUTE honey, HAUTE.
Capped sleeved shirts are awesome and slimming but box tees offer a different shape to the usual. They also liken themselves to a mix of the masculine and feminine looks that will make you look super chic.
Who knew that the 80s would have had something right in tying up our shirts, but who would have assumed it’d still be cute?! Should we bring back the plastic rings that loop the shirt ends through…or did I take it too far?
Okay. Fine, we’ll stick to the tie up.
As a girl who isn’t crop top ready just yet the tie up adds the perfect amount of sexy to this look and also makes it so I can don men’s shirts that don’t come in small enough sizes. Tie it up, girls!!

Nice styles! These are best ways to rock with midi skirts. I am obsessed with those styles and can’t wait to try them.
