You guys I saw this van on the street and instantly thought, “That settles it I’m getting a VW bug and hitting the open road.” Then immediately reality returned, I could probably handle it for a day and then I’d be crying for my truck. It was a beauty though. But let’s focus – it’s all about the dress here. We’ve talked endlessly about fall’s imminent return and while I can’t wait for the temps to truly fall below 80, but I live in California it’ll be a while for me. Until then I’m pulling out the fall in other ways mainly in color and texture – like this terra cotta hued dress from COS.
When you can’t join in all the loveliness of suede jackets and wool hats just yet, you throw on a shift dress with pockets and a pair of suede boots so you don’t sweat the pretty off in the midst of summer still holding on.
I was also finally able to scoop up some bandannas to wear, isn’t it funny how things make a come back every now and again? I really like this trend and I hope it sticks around long enough for my scarves to get really worn in. I grabbed a red and a black because they’ll both go with most of what I have in my closet now. Such a quick, easy, chic accessory.
