Hi, I’m Leslie Antonoff, known around the internet as Hautemommie. A California native, mother of three and wife, who blogs from the city of Long Beach. In addition to that I’m the creator, executive producer, & host of Aspire’s hit culinary series Butter + BROWN. For three seasons myself and my co-host have been teaching audiences how to turn ordinary ingredients into extraordinary meals. Plus, I’m a proud woman entrepreneur. I own Sweet Knowledge Clothing Company, an apparel brand dedicated to providing stylish wares for HBCU students, alumni, & supporters. My line has been featured in Essence, Buzzfeed, and sold over 5,000 units nationwide. This has given me the chance to consult countless people on how to start their own businesses and become entrepreneurs to give them the freedom they are desiring to have.
For the past 10 years what began as simply a Twitter handle, Hautemommie, has now become synonymous influencing people, primarily women, especially Black women; to pursue the lives they envision. With bylines in Spruce Eats, The Daily Dot, and Ebony Magazine; I share my insight on food, motherhood, and life as a thought leader. Recently my digital show Let Leslie Tell It, one of the first original series on Issa Rae’s YouTube channel, relaunched as an inspirational series to discuss heavy issues with love. I have been featured in a bevy of publications including Voyage LA, Glitter Guide, Cuisine Noir, and more. I’ve had the privilege of speaking about my life as a business owner on podcasts like Brown Girls Rising, Talk Thirty To Me, and The Suite Life. My journey has led me to partnerships with brands large and small like Panera Bread, LA County Fair, and Clorox.
I hope you enjoy this space I’ve carved out here on the internet – if you’d like to connect, drop me a line!
