I often spend my days and at times late nights, perusing Pinterest. Not in search of anything in particular but instead just gathering inspiration in all forms as it comes. In this fresh series I want to share with you weekly the things that have piqued my interest through my wandering. From style that I’d like to recreate to recipes that push me toward the kitchen. This is where you’ll find the things that make me tick. Dive in to get some inspiration of your own and don’t forget to follow along on Pinterest for more.
As someone who works from home, I have been longing for an office space that invigorates me. Something that encourages my creativity and gives me the excitement I need to work daily. I’ve been staring at four rolls of wallpaper that need to be put up for nearly two months now but these spaces are what I am looking to recreate. Mood boards on display, wallpapered walls, a desk not covered in stuff.
I think it’s important to find inspiration where you can, but don’t let it stir feelings of envy.
Like most people I can get into a rut with what to serve for dinner, even as a TV chef. There is always going to be meals that you family craves and others that they prefer you didn’t make. To stave off the monotony I try to incorporate something into our rotation at least once a week. Many of those meals from from recipes I’ve collected from around the internet or magazines. Three are a few I’m thinking of giving a go this week; Pinch of Yum’s – Rainbow Vegetarian Pad Thai, How Sweet It Is – Salmon With Thai Curry Peanut Sauce, and Damn Delicious – Creamy Mushroom Soup.
Every week as I prepare for photoshoots for the blog I seek out looks that I want to recreate with my own spin or insight on pieces that I can add to my closet to expand my options. Some times it’s shots that evoke a reaction in me. Whatever category they fall into, here’s a bit of what caught my eye this week.
