The bigger the sleeves the closer to God? Or maybe it was something else. Whatever, the point is giant sleeves are en vogue honey! You’ve seen them everywhere by now I’m certain. Balloon sleeves, bell sleeves, cuffs big enough to conceal your secrets and they are here to stay. I am indeed loving the trend but haven’t pulled the trigger on getting anything until I spotted this organza sleeved number via ASOS. Into the cart it went.
It’s the organza that takes what could be, another mediocre graphic tee, to new heights. I love the almost unfinished look it has as well, complementing the grunge skull and rock & rock feel that it gives. I decided to tone it down by wearing a cargo pant from the GAP because basically that’s like American mom 101. And I don’t want to scare the neighbors – I’m wholesome, I promise.
We couldn’t keep it too regular though, after all this is The Hautemommie, where we keep an element of chic in everything. And so leopard strikes again! Madewell made my dreams come true with this pair of loafers. After looking for months to replace an old Nine West pair, these stepped in and handled the task with ease.
