HAUTE Find: 5 Black Owned Beauty Lines

With everything going on in America these days it has been difficult to find a bit of peace in the chaos. However, over the course of the past week several of my networks have been compiling lists of Black owned companies, banks, and more. In order for Black businesses to be boosted while Black lives are in endangered.

As a black woman, mother, and entrepreneur I know the power of buying black. So as a style and beauty lover I want to share a few cosmetic lines that are focused on keeping brown women HAUTE because they’re created by brown women who understand the struggle.

Black Opal – A cult classic, Black Opal handles all manner of beauty across the Black woman spectrum. Black Opal Cosmetics | https://thehautemommie.com/haute-find-black-owned-beauty-lines/Shea Moisture – Known mostly for their outstanding hair care line, people may not think of them first when it comes to lipstick, but they’ve got you covered.SheaMoisture Cosmetics Illuminating Mineral Bronzer | https://thehautemommie.com/haute-find-black-owned-beauty-lines/Ka’oir – While some may know Keyshia as bae to rapper Gucci Mane, she is also the lipstick slanging diva behind this line of highly pigmented lip shades.

Black Up – I’ve heard so much about this brand and have been waiting to get my hands on a few products, I’ll be sure to post a review once I do!

Anti Shine Loose Powder - Black Up | Sephora:
Gold Label Cosmetics – Beautiful packaging, great names – this brand had me hooked at the gold tubes. Gold Label Cosmetics | https://thehautemommie.com/haute-find-black-owned-beauty-lines/

There you have it HAUTEES, now you have access to some dope brands brought to you by Black girls. That’s truly some #BlackGirlMagic! Get out there and keep being beautiful.

Let me know of some brands I may not have mentioned, I’m always down for hearing about something new! Happy Makeup Monday!

  1. I am definitely going to look into some of these brands. Really excited to know of black owned beauty brands. It’s frustrating trying to find companies that make products for us, most of them don’t know how to match the warm tones of our skin. These are going on my to-do list!
