I had this bomber sitting in my ASOS cart for weeks before I pulled the trigger and bought it. Flight jackets or bombers whichever name you prefer, have been making their rounds lately. And I’ve seen a few that jumped out to me but I think this one took the cake because – ruffles.
With office holiday soiree season upon us, reach for something less expected. Little black dresses are easy and sequins have been done. Pull on a smart pant and jazz it up with a show stopping jacket.
This jacket can certainly speak on it its own, but like fashion icon Iris Apfel says, “more is more and less is a bore.” So I decided to take this outfit as far it could go. Layers of ruffles, a blinged out statement necklace, not to mention a bit of pattern mixing too. All for a perfect look to wear at your work holiday party or any luncheon where eggnog is on the menu.
